How To Use Road Estimate Excel Sheet / Software

STEP 1 :- Open the excel sheet in word 2007 or lower & click on "options" on top left as shown is image & a dialogue box will open, select "Enable this content", then click "OK".

- After enabling macro you will see such screen. 

STEP 2 :- Enter your project name (optional) & fill all the necessary data as R.L. of formation, width of formation, R.L. of ground, slopes, Gradient.
- If you have uniform distance between all your stations then enter uniform distance in "Distance b/w stations" & enter chainage or station number in "Chainage".
- If you have two different gradients then enter the value of S. no. upto which a gradient is being applied & select it is whether upward or downward gradient.

STEP 3 :- After filling all the necessary data click on "Calculate" button on Top Left.


- Then table will be filled up automatically.
- A chart also will be prepared on second page & rate table also will be filled up.


STEP 4 :- If you wish , enter rate per cubic meter (not for per cent-100 cubic meter) & then again click on "Calculate" button on page 1 as previous. rates will also be calculated automatically.


 STEP 5 :- Congratulations !!! Now save the file at any location as you prefer.
